Who Says You Can’t Make Money Online?
I’ve never been one to doubt the fact that it’s possible to make money online, because I’ve done it in the past. I’ve dabbled a little with selling stuff on eBay and have made thousands selling my own software over the years. Although, as much as I tried, I was never able to make a significant amount of money with affiliate marketing.
Since I started blogging several months ago, I renewed my interest in affiliate marketing and decided to learn everything I could in order to succeed. So far, my efforts have not been in vain.
Here is the first check I received from NeverblueAds.
I am also expecting a check from COPEAC for $112.
I didn’t post this check to brag. I’m sharing this with you because I want you to know it’s very possible to earn money online, even for a beginner. Just like anything else, it takes a burning desire to succeed, a little knowledge, skill, and patience. No offense but the internet is full of stories of how to make money online. Is not easy at all to make money …and not just online. Online is even harder.

Poster Maniac: You are certainly right! It takes a lot of work to get the ball rolling in this business, especially when you are getting started.
I think there are a lot of people out there who simply give up too early. They quit because of the early failures and can’t take the rejection.
I personally welcome failure. Every time I try something that doesn’t work and I fail miserably, I’m happy. Why? Because I just learned one more thing that doesn’t work.
Here is one of my favorite quotes from Thomas Edison, regarding the invention of the light bulb:
“I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.”

DayJobNuker: I plan to write a post about the methods I used to make this money, but here they are in a nutshell:
Banner ads and affiliate links on my Wii contests blog. This site gets decent traffic and is highly targeted to people looking for free Wii’s. I have been very successful running gaming related ads and have just expanded my ad rotations to include stuff that’s interesting to my main demographic of 18-35 year old males.
I ran several PPC campaigns on some domains I have that redirect to affiliate offers. I only ran these campaigns on the content networks rather than search. After some testing, I found that I suck at creating landing pages and significantly improved my conversion rates when I used the landing pages from the offer.
I also ran some PPC campaigns on some very specific Halloween keywords, which turned out to be very profitable.
I made most of the money from the PPC campaigns in about two weeks time. I did get a little greedy and impatient, so I took a beating on some highly competitive niches. I learned from my mistakes, so it’s all good.
I am venturing into mini sites now and just published two of them last week. These are part of my long-term strategy.
Frost Web Directory: You are absolutely right; it’s hard to make money especially online, but it’s possible. It really depends on how badly you want it and what you are willing to do in order to get it.
I’ve committed to learning something new every day and try to seek out opportunities every where I can. There are no free lunches.
I think people should stick to what they know well, and become a expert at it, thats probably the best way to make money, in my opinion

yah u can make $$$ online. but its not that easy. there are some PTC and Survey sites. I think most of them are scam. Cant figure out which one really pays ;(

I think the key is to force yourself to “think outside the box” and come up with something new and innovative. The early adopters are the ones who make all the money.

I agree that you can make money online. But just like any business or industry its NOT for everyone. Its best left to us who know what we are doing or who are quick learners in the internet world. Others without internet advanced knowledge and an ability to pick-up such things as SEO, PPC, etc concepts quickly are more likely doomed to fail or suffer mediocrity.

Hid Conversion Kits: I think it really comes down to how persistent and driven the individual is. Sure, SEO and PPC are really complex topics that take years to master, but if you want to learn them badly enough, you’ll put in the time.
There’s no easy way to make money online, that’s for sure. If you hang in there long enough, you’ll succeed.

Theres money online…Internet marketing is a lucrative business nowadays…we can generate money through our daily activities as long as we have enough knowledge in SEO, PPC and other stuffs. No more more worries on the internet.
I agree that there is money to make online with affliate programs. However, atleast in my experience it isn’t easy to make money online. With some hard work and time, it is possible to make a good living just from online money.
You can make money online, but it’s not as easy as some people make it out to be. It requires hard work and patience. It also takes creativity and adaptability.
Yes, I totally agree that making money online is VERY hard work. If you are not committed to it every single day, you’ll never make any money.
It’s all about the failures…Every time you do something that doesn’t work, it puts you one step closer to making some money. Don’t be afraid to fail!
Personally, I believe that you need to find one niche, market, or technique and exploit it fully until you’re certain that it’s a money maker or not. If you creatively focus your attention, you’ll have a much better chance at success.

yeah, everyone can make money online. It takes time but its worth the wait when you got paid.
Anyone can make money online with effort and time. There is a learning curve like anything else, but the Internet allows for countless ways to make money and earn a living. Congrats on your checks!
It is defiantly not as easy as most of the ads say it is. I have been doing this for a number of years and it has gotten a lot harder. Patients seems to be a key factor. Things you do today may not show up for a number of weeks or months. Keep good records so you can look back and see what you have done.

Seems like every other blog is trying to show you how to make money in affiliate marketing. No doubt there is money to be made but it is quickly becoming overly saturated if not already…Only folks that will make significant $ will be those who have truly unique info…Telling others how to make money is not it..

Yeah, I’ve been making money online for over 9 years now. Too bad I’ve never taken it seriously. Usually bounce around to whats hot at the moment and have some good successes. Right now I do alot of affiliate marketing also with Copeac and NBA. Hoping to expand that to several other networks and really up the profit margin over my network of sites.
My reason…get rid of my debt then set myself up for an early retirement!

It’s precisely true that anyone can make money online…but the big question is “how much will one make, if any”? Looks like there could be tons of answers to this.
While real stories of people making money online (from loose change to moderate green bucks to big time money) may create some needed inspiration and morale boost, it is a hard fact that it ain’t just easy.
From being overwhelmed with ship loads of information to being frustrated with the gruelsome task of trying to build links, making money online requires a very high degree of patience and perseverance until one sees a fair amount of positive results…and that could even be possibly take a long time, probably years…unless one gets a lucky break.
The path to making money online is not what others claim it to be or what others want you to believe it to be. But unless one tries and does some real work, one can never comprehend what it’s all about.
That is a pretty big check, it seems efforts will pay off. The thing people need to realize is yes, it is convenient to make money online, but it truly is work! Nothing is ever free. It takes time and patience.
