It’s Almost Vacation Time!
As of 6 PM tonight, I’m officially on vacation. This is the first vacation I’ve taken in several years that spans more than a few days. My family and I will be spending the next five days at my parent’s place at Lake Eufaula.
One of the things I really like about going to the lake (besides the funny name), is that there is no phone, cable, or Internet service. I have to drive 20 minutes just to get a signal on my cell phone. It’s going to be nice to be totally disconnected for a change and be able to relax without checking my e-mail every 10 minutes.
I’ve been in a little slump lately with my blog posts, so I’m hoping this vacation help me recharge and come back with lots of ideas for new and interesting posts. With that being said, it’s going to be a little quiet around here until I return. I haven’t had much time to write posts in advance because of my pre-vacation workload.

A vacation can be exactly what you need when you are feeling burned out. It’s amazing how much good can come from not thinking about anything for a week or two…have fun.
