As you probably have already heard, John Chow published his Make Money Online E-Book yesterday. You can get your own copy for the bargin-basement price of $0; that’s right, it’s free.
I admit that I always approach this type of material with a certain amount of skepticism. Just because it’s free doesn’t mean it’s worth anything. For example, a few weeks ago someone posted a link to Shawn Casey’s Internet Business-In-A-Box (a $497 value) which he was giving away for free. What did I get out of it? Nothing of real value, but Shawn was kind enough to spam me 3 times a day for a week. Thanks Shawn!
John’s e-book actually surprised me. It is well written, very easy to read, and offers tons of valuable information for newbies and experienced bloggers alike. The thing that impressed me the most was not the content necessarily, but how John was able to give you a concrete example of how to create a buzz and drive traffic to your site.
If you’re a blogger, you owe it to yourself to download and read John’s e-book. If you are not as impressed with the book as I was, you can always kick John in the ass.

As much as I’m not a fan of ebooks, I was glad to see this one released by John, as it was another one of his free resources. Offering it at a cost would have been a big no no.
John’s book was a nice consolidation of the best info he has on his site. I’d be interested to see how well this viral marketing method worked out for him.
I don’t like read e-books but it’s John Chow’s e-book so I will of course read it. His tips very useful for general public.
